The third week of Oscar's life (August 26 - September 1) was the end of Tom and Georgeann's visit (aka Papa and Yaya) and the beginning of Richard and Idell's visit (aka Grandpa and Baba). Aren't those killer grandparent names? Oscar deserves only the best.
It was
so fantastic for Oscar to get to bond with his grandparents. I don't think any of them had spent this much time with a newborn since having their own children. All four of them were gigantic helps around the house, with cooking and chores and errand-running and working on house projects that were going to languish without an assist from a granddad. Thank you Yaya, Baba, Grandpa and Papa!
